Kesehatan mental pada anak, penting diperhatikan sejak anak baru lahir. Orang tua memiiki peran yang besar dalam membangun kesehatan mental anak. Kesehatan mental pada anak, tidak hanya sebatas mencegah terjadinya gangguan mental, namun juga mencakup kemampuan anak untuk berfikir, mengontrol emosi dan bersosialisasi dengan lingkungan sekitarnya sesuai dengan usianya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Apabila anak memiliki mental yang sehat dan kuat, maka anak akan dapat berfikir dengan jernih, berkonsentrasi, lebih mudah mempelajari hal baru, dan mampu bersosialisasi dengan baik. Peran orang tua sangat penting dalam mewujudkan mental yang sehat pada anak. Karena dengan mental yang sehat dapat mendukung perkembangan serta pertumbuhan anak secara optimal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Ada beberapa cara yang perlu dilakukan orang tua untuk menjaga kesehatan mental anak usia dini antara lain : membangun kepercayaan diri anak. Hal ini, bisa dilakukan dengan memberikan apresiasi kepada anak saat mereka berhasil melakukan hal baru atau mencapai prestasi tertentu. Memberikan waktu bermain yang cukup, bermain bagi anak bukan hanya sekedar bersenang \u2013 senang tetapi juga tetapi juga menjadi waktu untuk mengeksplorasi berbagai hal baru. Selain itu, bermain dapat membantu menjaga kesehatan anakbaik fisik maupun mental.
